David B. Vermont has focused his practice on pharmaceutical mass torts and other areas of products liability.
Born in New York City, Mr. Vermont performed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1992.
Upon receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1996, Mr. Vermont was admitted to the New York State Bar.
Immediately after law school, Mr. Vermont practiced as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York. In that capacity, he was responsible for the investigation, prosecution, and trial of all types of criminal offenses.
After four years in the Brooklyn District Attorney's office, Mr. Vermont launched his career in the private sector by working for a New York law firm specializing in the defense of medical malpractice cases. In 2001 he was admitted to the bar of the District of Columbia.
Mr. Vermont is an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Vermont enjoys jogging and playing golf, and spending time with his wife Sheryl and their two young children.
He practices at the HermanGerel office in Washington, D.C.
