Mark L. Schaffer has focused his legal practice on workers compensation.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Schaffer attended Boston University as an undergraduate, where he received an A.B. degree, magna cum laude.
After attending Georgetown University Law School and earning his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Schaffer was admitted to the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars in 1972, and the bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1978.
Mr. Schaffer is a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia; the District of Columbia, Maryland State and American Bar Associations; Trial Lawyers Association of the District of Columbia; and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (2nd Vice Chair, 1990-92, Workers Compensation and Disability Section).
