Charles A. Mathis, Jr. is a senior partner of HermanMathis.
Born in Macon, Georgia, Mr. Mathis completed his undergraduate studies
and earned his Juris Doctorate at Mercer University. Upon completion of his
legal studies, Mr. Mathis was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1978.
Mr. Mathis is an active member of the Atlanta and Gate City Bar Associations; State Bar of
Georgia; American Board of Trial Advocates; Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (President, 1993-
94); The Association of Trial Lawyers of America (Member, Executive Committee, 1993-94, 2001);
and has served on the ATLA Board of Governors since 1997 (Past Chair of the Minority Caucus).
Among the numerous awards and accolades earned by Mr. Mathis is the highly
prestigious Weidemann Wysocki Citation of Excellence (1993 and 1996). He is also
honored to serve as a Faculty Member of the National College of Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Mathis practices at the HermanMathis office in Atlanta, Georgia.
