James F. Green has focused his practice on the areas of products liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, workplace injury and mass toxic torts.
Mr. Green has been appointed by Judge Lewis A Kaplan to the Plaintiff’s Management Committee in the Rezulin Products Liability Litigation, MDL 1348.
Over the past 27 years Mr. Green has been a member of the Massachusetts , District of Columbia and Virginia Bars. He was educated at St. Anselm College where he was a member of Delta Sigma Rho, Tau Kappa Alpha, and graduated with a B.A. degree in 1970. He received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University School of Law in 1973, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. He is also a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
In 1978 Mr. Green helped found the Asbestos Litigation Group. Since that time he has served on various State and Federal Plaintiff Committees regarding consolidated Asbestos litigation in several state and federal districts. He has also served on various Plaintiff Briefing and Discovery Committees in the Agent Orange Litigation.
Mr. Green has worked in support of the firm’s Diet Drug litigation and is one of the senior partners charged with the organization and development of the legal team and expert witnesses in support of the Rezulin litigation. He is the principal senior partner responsible for toxic tort work.
Mr. Green is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has served as past National Chairman and Vice Chairman of various committees of these associations. He has been an active lecturer in local and national continuing legal education programs.
He practices at the HermanGerel office in Washington, D.C.
