Denise J. Gottron has an extensive medical background that makes her highly qualified for
healthcare and pharmaceutical litigation.
Born in Washington, D.C., Ms. Gottron attended Georgetown University as an undergraduate,
where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Ms. Gottron became a registered
nurse in the District of Columbia in 1987 and actively practiced nursing before commencing her
legal education.
After earning her Juris Doctor degree at Ohio Northern University, she was admitted to the bar
of the State of Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 1993.
Ms. Gottron is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Maryland State
Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Maryland Trial
Lawyers Association and a resident member of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys.
She practices at the HermanMathis office in Rockville, Maryland.
